Description Being a farmer's daughter, I was taught at an early age the art of cooking good wholesome country fayre. The skills I learnt from my mother in her farmhouse kitchen were developed and honed at Radbrook Catering College - Shrewsbury. Upon leaving Radbrook with a distinction, I was employed by the famous Bayerischer hof Hotel in Munich, where I worked in the Kondetorei as Second Chef. After two years I moved back to England and began work for John Lewis Stores in London as head chef in the patisserie. The urge to move back to my roots in Shropshire got the better of me and I worked for a delicatessen in Shrewsbury, where I established a good reputation for traditional food. With the encouragement of customers and friends I started my outside catering business in 1984. The aim of my company is to offer a personal, friendly approach to client functions, working closely with customers to maintain a budget and to provide high quality service and excellent catering, served in style and flair. I work in partnership with my husband Chris who runs the restaurant area and is a capable Master of Ceremonies. Whatever your requirements, be it a small intimate dinner party or a large important celebration, I would be delighted to make an appointment to discuss your function in detail. |
