The Spit Roast and Hog Roast machines are versatile enabling two different cooking methods to be employed: 1. The Spit Roast - The whole pig is cooked and carved on the spit pole. 2. The Hog Roast - The whole pig is roasted and carved in the Hog Roaster, which is simply like a giant roasting tin. The machines have pneumatic tyres to cope with soft or uneven ground, twin axles for tight turns and the front axle has a swivel handle for easy steering. They are robust and light, which contributes to the ease of transportation. The pig is cooked off site and then transported to the venue and finished off in front of the clients. The meat is then carved and the client and guests can enjoy the full visual experience. The sight of the crackling crusted roasted spit and the smell of the roast is something to behold and an important aspect of a hog roast event. *** Alternatively beef or lamb can be cooked if preferred. *** One Pig will serve up to 120 people as part of a buffet and approximately 200 people as a snack. One Lamb will serve up to 60 people as part of a buffet and approximately 80 people as a snack.
